Lemnis is an emerging philanthropic venture that harnesses transformative change to expand learning for all.
We carry forward the ideals of NWEA, our predecessor organization, which is dedicated to advancing learning outcomes for all kids. Read about the sale of NWEA assets to HMH.
We envision a future of the unlimited learner, where every young person can thrive in a time of dramatic change, fully embraced by their communities. A future where learners are connected to experiences that are uniquely relevant to their needs and desires, and where they feel empowered to pursue fulfilling work and a life of purpose.
Our mission is to invest in next-generation solutions that make learning more just for all of us, personal to each of us, and adaptable in a fast-moving world.
We will be releasing more information about our organization in the coming year. To sign up to receive news and information, please email us at contact@lemnis.org.
Lemnis is adapted from the word “lemniscate”. A “lemniscate” is a curve similar to the infinity symbol. The symbol is a figure eight on its side that represents the concept of something that is unlimited, endless, or without bound.
